These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website halopropertyexperts.com (the "Site") and the cleaning services provided by Halo Property Experts ("Halo Property Experts," "we," "us," or "our"), including exterior and interior window cleaning, screen cleaning, lanai cleaning, and spider-web removal (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing the Site, requesting a quote, scheduling service, or otherwise communicating with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Quotes & Scheduling
Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and are not binding until confirmed in writing (including SMS or email confirmation). Final pricing may be adjusted on-site if conditions materially differ from what was described (for example, additional stories, heavily soiled glass, hard-water staining, obstructed access, or significantly larger square footage). We will inform you of any change before performing the additional work.
Appointments are scheduled subject to availability and weather. Florida weather may require us to reschedule for safety; we will notify you as early as reasonably possible.
3. Cancellation & Rescheduling
You may reschedule or cancel appointments by contacting us at (850) 567-7411. We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Same-day cancellations or no-shows after a technician has been dispatched may be subject to a trip fee at our discretion.
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit and debit cards, ACH, and other methods identified at checkout. Past-due balances may accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by Florida law and may be referred for collection. You are responsible for reasonable collection costs and attorneys' fees on past-due balances.
5. Property Access & Customer Responsibilities
By scheduling Services, you represent and agree that:
- You are the property owner or have authority from the property owner to authorize the work;
- You will provide reasonable, safe access to the work area (including water access where required and a clear path around the home);
- You will inform us in advance of any fragile fixtures, alarms, pets, or known property defects;
- You assume responsibility for moving or covering personal items inside the home that you do not want touched during interior services.
6. Pre-Existing Conditions & Limitations
Our Services restore appearance but cannot repair underlying damage. We are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing damage to glass, frames, screens, seals, paint, or sealants;
- Hard-water mineral deposits, oxidation, paint overspray, construction debris, or scratches that cannot be removed by standard cleaning (specialty restoration may be quoted separately);
- Failed or compromised window seals, foggy double-pane glass, or moisture trapped between panes (a manufacturer/installer issue);
- Damaged or torn screens that fail upon reasonable handling during cleaning or reinstallation;
- Water spotting caused by sprinklers, rain, or other sources after we depart.
7. Satisfaction & Re-Clean Guarantee
We stand behind our work. If you are not satisfied with a cleaned area, notify us within 48 hours of service and we will return to re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. This guarantee covers workmanship only and does not include refunds, conditions excluded in Section 6, or damage caused after our departure (e.g., rain, sprinklers, pets, construction).
8. Insurance & Liability
Halo Property Experts is fully insured. To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of use, profits, or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (such as gross negligence or willful misconduct).
9. Photos & Marketing
We may take before/after photographs of the work area for quality-control, training, and marketing purposes (including website and social media). Photos will not include identifiable people, addresses, or interior views without your additional written consent. You may opt out of marketing use at any time by emailing landon@halopropertyexperts.com.
10. Communications & SMS Messaging
By providing your phone number you authorize Halo Property Experts to contact you by phone call, SMS/MMS text message, and email regarding your quote, appointments, and service updates. SMS marketing messages are sent only with your separate, affirmative opt-in. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS at any time, or HELP for help. Full SMS terms are described in our Privacy Policy. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchase.
11. Acceptable Use of the Site
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or related systems;
- Interfere with the operation of the Site or any other user's enjoyment of it;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy material from the Site without our written permission.
12. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and the "Halo Property Experts" name and brand — is owned by or licensed to Halo Property Experts and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not use our marks without our prior written permission.
13. Third-Party Platforms (Meta, Google, etc.)
We advertise on platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google. Your interaction with those platforms is also governed by their terms and privacy policies. We comply with each platform's advertising policies; if you have a concern about an advertisement, please contact us so we can address it directly.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS, THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Halo Property Experts and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Either party may pursue qualifying claims in small-claims court.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
